ABOUT Kenton Robertson opened his studio in 1994. His first client, a luxury furniture brand, introduced him to an immensely talented team of collaborators including furniture designers, creative directors, art directors, stylists and writers. Many of these early creative partnerships have become long-lasting relationships. They also set the creative and professional standard for how Kenton approaches every project. Clients can expect the best. Kenton is known for exceptional interior and furniture imagery. His images always seek a natural sense of beautiful light and classic composition. Kenton is discerning and masterful at drawing upon existing light sources, natural light or even careful crafting of complex lighting to seem real and authentic in spaces devoid of natural light. But regardless of the subject or object of his photographic scrutiny, his craft and creativity are constant through the broad scope of his work. Kenton has worked with a diverse portfolio of clients … from national brands and advertising agencies, furniture makers, interior designers and a luxury boat manufacturer. Kenton is adept and comfortable with small and large projects. He has managed and produced national ad campaigns for many clients, assembling and directing creative teams and engaging with clients. He is an excellent listener, always seeking out the best collaborative result. Kenton lives with his wife Kathy Devereux, a powerhouse. Kathy loves telling the story how early in their relationship, he failed to fully disclose his keen love of sports. (Happily, Kenton balances his athletic obsession with a love of cinema, art and travel.) Camera-shy, Kathy recently sat for a portrait and raises her hand as another delighted “client” of Kenton Robertson. Kenton is naturally curious. It shows in his personal relationships and in his work.
